Pierogi can be heated in a microwave. But first they must have been boiled in order to cook the dough.
Pierogi dough is in reality a pasta dough. That has to be boiled. It cannot be cooked in a microwave.
So to make your pierogi in a microwave, be sure that it first has been boiled.
If you buy pierogi, it has most likely been boiled. If you make your own, you boil it as part of the process of preparatiion.
To warm your pierogi in a microwave, put it in a covered container with some added water. Not much. Just enough to make steam.
Adjust the time and power so that you just make steam.
There is no need to worry about cooking the filling. It will already have been cooked during the boiling process.
