- You get the control box which generates the static field. It has connectors for input power and the output field. A switch chosen to work under a 15kv DC static field enviornment is installed.
- You connect to your power source and add your own grass hopper.
- Power Source can be a 4 to 12 dc (12.5v dcmax) wallwart, power pack, batteries, railway layout track, or anything else convenient.
- Grass Hopper can be a vegetable strainer, tea strainer, or jar with metal screen cap (Mason jars are excellent choice)
- Power Unit Container –Polystyrene box with easy access to the interior. Dimensions – 13.2 x 13.2 x 4.2 cm
- Weight – 310 grams
- Static Field varies with the input voltage. With a 12v dc input the output is a nominal -15kv DC.Input voltage can be anything from 4 to 12 V DC. Output voltage will vary according to the following table.
